About me

Hey, I'm Théo DENIS, and I am currently a master Healthcare Data Science student in the Faculté de l'Ingénierie et du Management de la Santé (ILIS) in Université de Lille.

Passionate about numbers and formal sciences since my youngest age, I was also interested in the humanities and natural sciences, sports and sports, as well as philosophy and art; this is why I am particularly interested in reconciling these areas, this is why data analysis is my new credo.

Constantly looking for works and having several paintbrushes, I am able to bring new colors to my mind in order to contribute to a new current of the art of training and of health.

More about me

Opening up to the world is now necessary, so we can no longer remain understanding each other in a single city, in a single country - the evolution is now international.

That's why it's important for me to learn several languages as well as to know several cultures, to know the history of civilizations and our world, all the differences that can unite two people; Just as it is important for me to learn the languages of the world of computer science and programming, to be versatile, to better understand it and to interact with it better.

Physical and sports activities

Sport and physical activity being two of the sources of my professional ambitions, they have also rocked my daily life for many years. The Covid-19 pandemic and the entry into higher education made me stop practicing my passion for American football, but that did not prevent me from still being athletic and dynamic, and from winning titles, nor from expanding my attraction to this discipline.

Perseverance, rigor, discipline and teamwork are qualities that I have been able to acquire by practicing several disciplines, qualities that are dearly anchored today and that are easily carried over to my professional work.

Reading

« You will be as good if not better than those who will do the same studies as you, what will make the difference will be what you learn and what they will not learn » my parents used to tell me ; this is surely where my self-teaching, my autonomy and my thirst for discovery and learning come from.

It's rare that a subject doesn't interest me or only slightly, so reading is part of my daily life, whether it's articles, classical literature, philosophy, poetry, essays or art books ; readings that allowed me to reflect on many words in order to support personal and well-argued ideas, and to have a broad and almost unlimited culture.

Art

A deep attraction to art also characterizes the person that I am, it is summed up in the Hegelian arts, to which I add the art of dance. True vectors of stories and emotions, the arts allow me to bring to my mind new forms to hear and understand each of the ideas that I may encounter, as well as to flatten and erase the boundaries of my critical mind, contributing to the affirmation and argumentation of my own ideas.

More than simply looking, contemplating art, it is creation that allows us to think, to express, to persevere in life; it is she who is the foundation of the strength to live. So I have the ambition and the will to create - to paint, to sculpt, to rhyme - and to make my work a dance.

Writing

Finally, there is one last passion that has arisen from my reading, that of writing: personal and well-argued ideas, as well as thoughts, are worth sharing; This is the art of philosophy, an art that can be directly transposed to the professional world where communication and the defense of ideas take precedence.

Thus, a Dantesque, or denisian, poem and a treatise on religion and belief are two of my personal projects that are currently being written. This helps to enhance my creativity and my writing skills.
